NEW SPONSOR ON BOARD: Vertx®, a tactical clothing company, has joined GMS Racing as a partner for the 2014 season. Vertx® will serve as primary sponsor for Coulter and the No. 21 Chevrolet Silverado team at Kansas Speedway. In addition, Vertx®, the “Official Tactical Clothing Supplier of GMS Racing,” will be an associate sponsor on all GMS entries in the Truck Series and ARCA Racing Series for the remainder of the 2014 season.

Joey Coulter, driver of the No. 21 Alamo Rent A Car Chevrolet Silverado for GMS Racing, finished in the 17th position in the Kroger 250 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Coulter ran competitively inside the top-15 for the majority of the evening before a late restart shuffled the driver into the outside lane.

CHASING THE CLOCK: Joey Coulter returns to Martinsville (Va.) Speedway for the seventh time in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career. In his six previous starts, Coulter has two top-five finishes and completed 98.4% of laps contended. Coulter’s career-best finish at the Virginia short track came in the fall of 2012, where the driver finished third in a Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet.

Joey Coulter arrived at Daytona International Speedway ready to start the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season with a new team, a new crew chief, and a return to a familiar manufacturer. Entering his fourth consecutive full-time Truck season, Coulter joined GMS Racing to drive the No. 21 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet Silverado and compete for the championship.

As Coulter embarks on his fourth full season in the Truck Series, the 23-year-old does so with a new team and crew chief. GMS Racing tapped Coulter to drive the No. 21 Chevrolet when the Charlotte, N.C. based team decided to compete full-time in the Truck Series. On top of Coulter’s pit box will be crew chief Jeff Stankiewicz. The pair worked together for the first time at the open test session in January.

GMS Racing announced today that driver Joey Coulter has joined the organization to pilot a full-time entry in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Coulter, who enters his fourth full season in NASCAR, will compete for the 2014 championship behind the wheel of his Chevrolet Silverado.

Hometown hero, Joey Coulter entered the last race on the 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) schedule at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway (HMS) optimistic to close out his junior year campaign on a high note for all of his family, friends and team at his home track in Florida. Unfortunately, a series of events would plague the No. 18 GunBroker.com team and ultimately lead to a 27th-place finish in the Truck Series season finale.

When the green flag waves at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway for the 150-lap Truck Series finale on Friday night, it will have been 21 races and 267 days since Joey Coulter, driver of the No. 18 Toyota Tundra made his debut for Kyle Busch Motorsports at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Although it has been a year of many challenges, Coulter would like to cap off his junior year with a strong run in the final race on the 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) schedule at his home-track.

Joey Coulter, driver of the No. 18 GunBroker.com Toyota Tundra entered the 21st race on the 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) schedule on a mission to make it three in a row for Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR). Tying his track-best starting position of 10th and running as high as fifth in the first-half of the event, Coulter felt optimistic about his chances. However, a break issue with just over 40 laps remaining in the 150-lap event relegated the junior year driver to a 26th-place finish in the Lucas Oil 150 on Friday night.

Joey Coulter, driver of the No. 18 GunBroker.com Toyota Tundra heads to the desert – commonly known as Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) - for Friday night’s Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) event with guns blazing. Not only is the 23-year-old driver coming off his track-best finish of third at the Avondale facility, Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) has been victorious in the last two events at the 1-mile tri-oval with Brian Scott (2012) and owner-driver, Kyle Busch (2011).
