“Our first weekend at Gateway Motorsports Park was going really well. Our GMS Racing team had a productive test day on Friday, followed by a good practice and a good qualifying run on Saturday. We started the race eighth and we were able to get into the top five - where we ran most of the night. On our last green-flag pit stop the caution came out while we were on pit road and that killed our track position that we had maintained all night. I was happy with how we performed as a team but really disappointed with the finish; I know we had a much better truck than that. I’m really proud of our Allegiant travel guys for getting these trucks better every week.”

"I am really looking forward to turning some laps around Gateway Motorsports Park. It is a new track for me and it is one that I have always wanted to race on. I think it is going to be a really exciting race for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series because there are only a few drivers in the series that have ever been to the track before. Coming off of another top 10 run at Texas Motor Speedway, I am really confident that we are going to carry a lot of momentum into this weekend’s race and for the weeks to come. The GMS Racing No. 21 guys are working hard to develop new setups for this Chevrolet nose and they are making really good progress and getting us closer to the front every week.”

“I think Texas will be a turning point for this team. Everyone has been working really hard at the shop and at the track each week getting these trucks better and better. Dover was a great race for us and showed that what we have been working on is pointing us in the right direction. Texas is a blast to race on and has always been one of my favorite tracks. I’m looking forward to another good weekend with my Allegiant Travel Chevy.”

"I am fired up for this weekend. I always love racing at Dover International Speedway because the track is insane. For the size that it is, the track makes you feel like you are going faster than we do anywhere else on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule. We have done a lot of work back at the GMS Racing shop since Charlotte Motor Speedway, and I think we are going to turn our season around this weekend.”

The makeup of a good team is not only shown on the good days, but those when the cards dealt are against your favor. Joey Coulter and the No. 21 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet faced handling issues throughout the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway, but still managed to cross the finish in the 12th position.
